Promise yourself this: next time you go anywhere, anywhere at all, promise that you will stop and be still for a few moments. Breathe deeply and look around. Take notice of the world around you.

At 8:00 pm I exited the cold skating rink to find a lovely, balmy summer night outside. This was the view from the rink parking lot! People were walking in and out to their cars without noticing the black eyed Susan flowers, the lily pads, or the incredible sunset. It was too bad for them because it was such a magical scene - like a painting by Claude Monet. It was a highlight of my day and I hope that, if you're reading this, next time you are outside, you will take the time to stop and discover a magical moment for yourself.
